May 18 2008 - Welcome to my world!

Welcome to our new blog!  Welcome to a new chapter, not only a chapter for this message, but a new chapter in my life. This blog is a first for me and I would like to welcome all of you along for the journey. I cannot make very many promises about what it will be like, but I will try my best to be as real as I possibly can. Maybe we can enjoy the journey together and learn from each other. I love to make friends and I also enjoy being around people who think differently than I do. Challenges can make you grow! Let the dialog begin, let the comments flow, and a good joke every now and again never hurts.
When was the last time that you did something for the first  time? Are you needing something new in your life?  New things do not have to be hard, they do not have to be bad, they do not have to be painful. If your life is needing something different, you do not have to throw the baby out with the bath water (figure of speech). It could be that simply by adding a little something positive to your life, will help you out of your negative. You don't have to change every thing about your life to enjoy something new. Here are a few pointers that have helped me.

1. Big doors swing on little hinges.  As I stated earlier, just by adding a little thing could make a big difference. Make it positive, healthy, and enjoyable. You can make a game out of cleaning your garage if you want to, taking a walk can either be an adventure or an aggravation you make the choice.

2. God gives grace to the humble. John 10:10 says that Jesus came to give us abundant life! He will help you if you ask and believe. Helping is the job of the Holy Spirit, asking and believing is your job! Remember sometimes God uses people. If my wife did not help me there is a lot that I would not get done! I was able to get started  on this blog site because my friend Bruce Sizemore was there to help me. I will be able to keep this up because you write me back and I know some one is out there. Hint. Hint.

3. Get back up!
The only way you lose is if you quit and there is just no quit in us. If you stumble in life, just get up dust yourself off and get busy living!

You make my life a sweeter song when you join in, so I'll be looking forward to hearing from you.
                                                                                                  love and prayer.
