July 7, 2008 To Be Hurting.

I want to take just a moment to give thanks to God for all those who have prayed and supported us this past week as we buried two of our family members. My sister Etta had become more like a spiritual daughter to my wife Donna and I. Thanks again to everyone, you look just like Jesus.
Two very important things I must tell you that I have learned. Do not just glance over this writing, because if you have never gone through something like this, you will in the future! Please try to remember it is not about losing someone it is about loving someone! The reason you hurt so much is because that you care so much! What that really means to us is that we achieved the goal of life, we made the mark, we fulfilled the task we have been given by God, we loved someone! Never deny it and never regret it. You allowed someone into your life, gave them the best seat in the house, the one next to your heart and that is a wonderful thing. You have experienced the miracle of love! When the days ahead get lonely or at the times when your heart seems empty remember that the cure for love is love! Look around and let someone else in.
That brings me to my second point. People deal with life in many different ways. Some want the whole world to know, some want to find a place to hide. No matter how you deal with life I just want you to know if you need someone, contact us, let us pray or at the very least, let's sit together and hopefully find a cure!
